Rustbucket Rally 2009

Rustbucket Rally 2009

Intransit supplies minicoach for the organisers and helpers of this year's Rustbucket Rally.

Starting in St Malo on the 27th September and finishing on the 4th October at this year's Munich Oktoberfest, the second Rustbucket Rally was organised by Linda Garnham and Phillip Shell. This charitable drive across France, Switzerland, Austria and Munich and back was arranged to raise funds for Aid Reaching Children, the local charity whose mission is 'to take aid to children in need, wherever it is needed, as quickly and efficiently as possible'.

After cruising at 70mph (quite a treat for us Guerns used to a speed limit of only 35mph!) for the 2,700 miles of the trip, the Ford Bambino returned safely.

As last year's Rust Bucket rally was such a success they have decided that it will now be an annual event. If you are curious about where the sponsors' and competitors' money will end up, please visit their website
www.aidreachingchildren.org.gg
to see what they have achieved to date.

Thanks

First and foremost this letter is a huge thankyou to you, to Nicky and all the drivers at Intransit who were quite superb last weekend with all the transport requirements for the de putron family celebrations that embraced three different venues over two days. I am keenly aware that additional client requirements and changes were still going on even on the Saturday morning but every single transfer worked. Many many thanks.

We are already deep into working on Liberation Day for 2009 and 2010 and you will no doubt hear from us very soon with regard to transfer requirements. In the meantime, this comes with sincere thanks and appreciation for the quite excellent service that Intransit provides.
